In today’s society, a large number of people are trying to follow a healthy nutritional diet, all with the goal of maintaining their good health. However, in an attempt to refine the eating habits, a large number of American people have replaced meat and eggs with tofu. The soy industry has been known for trying to convince people that they’re consuming healthy food, but the reality is far from that.
Processed soy is not healthy food – and that is a fact. It is far better to consume grass-fed meat, raw dairy products as well as organic eggs instead of processed soy. Consuming processed soy has been shown to increase the risk of various health complication such as reproductive, allergies, thyroid, brain damage, cancer and premature puberty.
Other health complications included lethargy, weight gain, hair loss, loss of libido and others. However, there are still a few soy foods which have been proven to be safe for consumption:
- Miso (soup)
Miso is a fermented paste with a buttery and salty texture.
It is a mixture of fermented soybeans with cheese-like flavour and sticky texture, rich in nattokinase and K2 vitamin.
- Soy Sauce
Soy sauce is a famous recipe, traditionally made from the fermentation of salt, soybeans and enzymes.
Tempeh is a cake recipe made from fermented soybeans with a mushroom-like flavour and a thick texture.
Shortly put, if you want to eliminate all risks of soy damage to your body, avoid all the processed foods as much as you can, because most of them contain soy components such as ice-cream, cheese, burgers and other soy-based ingredients and products.
